Streams & events

Sell tickets as NFTs. Pay attendees automatically.

Run paid roundtables, gated alpha calls or watch parties. Sudo handles the ticket NFT, gates entry, runs the stream, and (optionally) auto-distributes a slice of revenue to attendees and referrers.

  • Issue ticket NFTs that double as proof-of-attendance
  • On-stream tipping in any token, settled in 2 seconds
  • Replay gated by the same NFT — leaks are impossible
  • Programmable revenue split via smart contract

Capabilities

Everything you need for serious meetings

Crystal voice

Opus-encoded voice with adaptive bitrate. Sub-100 ms latency on a global SFU mesh.

HD & 4K video

Up to 50-person grids and 2,000 viewers in stage rooms. Hardware-accelerated encoding.

End-to-end encrypted

Per-call MLS keys negotiated between participants — Sudo can't join, can't replay.

Token-gated rooms

Require an NFT, a token balance, or an on-chain action to enter. Verified at the door.

On-stream tips

Send any token mid-call. Tips settle instantly and surface as on-screen alerts.

Borderless dial-in

Free WebRTC connections from any browser, plus optional SIP bridge for legacy phones.

How a token-gated meeting works

Five seconds from invite to verified seat

  1. 01

    Configure the gate

Pick a token, NFT collection, multisig membership, or POAP. Optionally combine multiple rules.
  2. 02

    Share the join link

A signed link that resolves to the room. No emails, no calendar invites required.
  3. 03

    Wallet verification

Joiners sign a SIWE challenge so we can check the on-chain rule. The wallet never leaves their device.
  4. 04

    You're in

End-to-end encryption keys are exchanged peer-to-peer. The room appears in your channel list.

Use cases

A few ways teams already run on Sudo

DAO governance calls

Token-gated voice rooms where only delegates above a threshold can speak. Auto-mint a POAP for attendance.

Paid alpha groups

Sell access via NFT, run weekly streams, refund non-attendees automatically.

Hackathon office hours

Builders queue with their wallet. Mentors get tipped for time spent.

OTC trading desks

Private voice + escrow workflow without leaving the chat.

Founder roundtables

Verified-only rooms gated by VC-issued NFT credentials.

Community game nights

Light-touch voice channels with auto-mining rewards for active players.

FAQ

Calls, answered

Are calls really E2E encrypted?+
Yes. Sudo uses MLS (Messaging Layer Security) for group rooms. Keys are negotiated client-side and rotated on every join or leave.
Can validators or Sudo employees join?+
No. Joining a room requires the room key. Validators only see opaque receipts when they verify attendance for paid events.
How do tips work?+
Tip with any supported token. The first tap pre-approves a session limit; subsequent tips don't need re-signing. Funds settle to the recipient's wallet immediately.
What about recording?+
Recording requires explicit per-call consent from every participant. Recordings are gated by the same token rules as the room itself.
Is there a free tier?+
Yes. 1:1 calls are free forever. Group rooms up to 12 participants are free. Larger rooms cost a small per-minute fee paid in SUDO or USDC.
